Installation
instructions:
Ensure
you have removed all former driver per the instructions
found in the manual before attempting to install this
latest driver version.
After
downloading the file, unzip the file into an empty
folder or directory on the hard drive. (If you cannot
locate the file you downloaded, use the Windows Find
command to search for the COOLDISK20V2_1_0.zip program
on your hard disk.)
Do
NOT plug the Cool Disk 2.0 into the computer,
and run the setup.exe file to install driver. (This
program will be found in the folder you unzipped the
files to in step #1)
Windows
ME / 2000 / XP
Windows
ME / 2000 / XP has built-in driver support for "Cool
Disk 2.0" USB driver. So it is not necessary to install
driver.
Macintosh
OS / Linux
Plug
Cool Disk 2.0 into the computer USB port and the computer
will automatically detect it and install necessary
driver.
Utilities
Please
run the application "Security AP.exe" file
that is included in the above COOLDISK20V2_1_0.zip
to
enable the secure protection.Please
refer to the manual for details.
