Notes: To enable the USB boot feature (only for Win 98 / ME), the main board BIOS must support boot from "USB-ZIP".

Installation instructions:

  1. Ensure you have removed all former driver per the instructions found in the manual before attempting to install this latest driver version.
  2. After downloading the file, unzip the file into an empty folder or directory on the hard drive. (If you cannot locate the file you downloaded, use the Windows Find command to search for the CoolDisk_V3_1_0.zip program on your hard disk.)
  3. Run the SETUP.EXE program and follow the onscreen directions (This program will be found in the folder you unzipped the files to in step #1

 
Windows ME / 2000 / XP
Windows ME / 2000 / XP has built-in driver support for "Cool Disk" USB driver. So it is not necessary to install driver. However, "USNDISKT.exe" should be installed if you need to use SECURE
Protection and BOOTABLE features, etc, you will need to download the above driver. The"
USNDISKT.exe" file is included in the driver. (Please refer to the User's Manual for more details)

Installation instructions:

  1. After downloading the file, please create a new folder named "FlashMail" on your Cool Disk and unzip the file into that folder. (If you cannot locate the file you downloaded, use the Windows Find command to search for the FlashMail.zip program on your hard disk.)
  2. Run the "flashmail.exe" for application. (This program will be found in the folder you unzipped the files to in step #1

Notes:

  1. Using this FlashMail program, your Cool Disk MUST be registered and sealed with identified code directly during production in our factory. Otherwise, the program cannot work on your Cool Disk.
